I’m one of the presenters on Newsnight, the current affairs programme that airs every weeknight on BBC2. I also present the BBC2 business reality show, Dragons Den and the business conversation programme the Bottom Line.

I’m not to be confused with the different Evan Davis who used to be President of the New York City Bar Association; nor am I the American comedian with the same name. And I’m not Evan Davis Junior, the former college football player from the University of Texas at El Paso.

This site is designed to collate various pieces of information about me for those who want it. It is also a place where you can find links to different projects I’m involved in. But the single most important reason for its existence is to let those who are trying to contact me know that I do not have an agent, notwithstanding the fact that there are some companies on the web that purport to act for me.

As far as websites go, this one does not aim to be among the world’s most glitzy. I’m an admirer of Warren Buffett and of the inspiring home page of his huge global conglomerate Berkshire Hathaway. It demonstrates that sometimes less can be more.
